How to keep your home safe from intruders?

Crimes can occur at anyplace and any time. Based on a 2559 report on crime statistics, there were over 67,745 reported cases involving assets and properties, with robbery being the most common cause. It was predicted that these crimes would continue to rise in 2560. We would like to recommend a few ways to secure your home and protect your loved ones.

1) Install security bars: Although security bars around the windows can deter intruders, it may not be an efficient solution if houses are located in a more remote or secluded area.

2) Install security cameras: Homeowners can watch live footage or playback videos directly from their smartphones. Videos and images from security cameras can then be used as evidence. Nowadays, security cameras come with diverse specifications. Therefore, users are advised to do some research in order to pick the best suited cameras for their needs. For instance, infrared CCTV should be used if the observed areas are dark and obscured. Conversely, if you desire colored image in areas with little to no lighting, Starlight CCTV is recommended.

3) Install an intrusion alarm system: When an alarm is triggered, the control panel will send signals to the sirens, as well as push messages to home owners’ smartphones. This is to ensure that homeowners are immediately alerted when an intrusion occurs. The siren sounds will also capture the attention of nearby neighbors or community guards. This is the best system to deter intruders and to secure your home.

If you have a limited budget, we recommend that you install an intrusion alarm first. However, to maximize effectiveness and security, an alarm system should be used with a CCTV system.
